ProNow member referral agreement
1. What ProNow is
CYT receives enquiries from customers through its websites. Through ProNow we offer some of them to CYT members as introductions. We post a short description of the job (the problem and the area, never the customer's details). The first approved member to claim it receives the customer's contact details.
2. The introduction fee
- For every job you claim you owe CYT the introduction fee shown on that job: normally €100, or €50 for jobs we mark as small, plus VAT where applicable.
- The fee is for the introduction. It is not a charge to the customer and must not be added to the customer's bill as a separate item.
- We invoice monthly. Invoices are payable within 14 days.
- No fee is due if, within 24 hours of claiming, you tell us that the customer could not be reached or cancelled before you attended. We then reopen the job.
- One fee covers the job you claimed. If the same customer comes back to you directly for further work within 12 months, no further fee is due.
3. Your commitments
- Call the customer within 15 minutes of claiming an emergency job, or within 2 hours for other jobs. If you can't, tell us straight away so we can reopen it.
- Only claim jobs you are qualified, licensed and insured to do, and can attend in time.
- Your contract for the work is directly with the customer. You are responsible for your quote, workmanship, safety, certification, guarantees and getting paid. CYT is not a party to that contract.
- Treat the customer politely and price fairly. Customers may review you on CheckYourTraders.
- Keep your contact details on ProNow up to date.
4. Customer data
Use the customer's details only to deal with that job. Don't pass them on, add them to marketing lists or keep them longer than you need for the job and your legal records. You are responsible for the data once you have it, under the GDPR and Malta's Data Protection Act (Cap. 586).
5. The WhatsApp group
The group is for job posts only. Don't share the group link or the job links outside your business. We may remove members who don't call customers in time, who claim jobs they can't do, who receive repeated complaints, or who don't pay invoices.
6. Our side
We pass on enquiries as we receive them and don't guarantee the number, value or outcome of jobs. Where two claims arrive together, our system's record of which claim was first is final.
7. General
Either side may end this agreement at any time by telling the other. Fees for jobs already claimed remain payable. We may update this agreement; the version you accepted when you claimed a job applies to that job. This agreement is governed by Maltese law.
